About Us

Our Story

At Interstate Auto & Tow, we’re more than a repair shop — we’re a family-owned business built on hard work, integrity, and decades of experience.
We purchased Interstate Auto in April 2001 and brought with us a lifelong dedication to the auto industry.

Randy & Pamela Moore,
Owners Since 2001

Randy started turning wrenches at just 16 years old as a heavy-duty mechanic in Elwood, Kansas. From maintaining large truck fleets to managing service facilities, his career gave him the expertise and confidence to build a business of our own.

In 1999, we launched Moore’s Truck Repair, and just two years later, we established Interstate Auto in Kearney.

In 2016, we expanded into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility to better serve our growing customer base.

Today, Interstate Auto & Tow continues to thrive as a trusted name in the community, offering both full-service auto repair and dependable 24/7 towing.

Our Mission

We’re committed to providing the highest quality auto repair and towing service, while treating every customer with courtesy, honesty, and professionalism. Our goal is to exceed expectations and remain the most trusted mechanic in the Northland.
